Worth a closer look
The details behind the rhythm.
Progress over time
Running total of merged PRs. Add your own context with event labels in Settings.
Open PRs, week by week
PRs open at each week end, including those closed later. The last point stops at the selected end date. Reopen cycles are not reconstructed.
Size vs. wait
Each dot is one merged PR with size data: how big it was against how long it waited from open to merge. Both axes are logarithmic; zero-size or zero-wait PRs are omitted.
PR sizes
The shape of a week
Merge timestamps by weekday and hour in (DST-aware). Darker means more merges in that slot.
When merges land
Merge times on business days, averaged over days with a merge. These describe when PRs landed, not hours worked.
Lines moved
Additions and deletions per month in the repositories with size data. PRs over changed lines are excluded by the size threshold; this does not identify generated code.

About the data & method
- Source. GitHub search API, PRs authored by
octodevin the collected period 27 Aug 2025 - 27 Aug 2026: . Co-authored or reviewed work is not included. - Business days. . Public holidays come from the country chosen in Settings; personal days off are listed there too. Any day off not on the list still inflates the denominator, so the per-day rate is a floor.
- Lines of code. Counted only for , and only for PRs up to changed lines. Squash merges mean a diff is counted once, at merge time.
- Issues. Counted by creation date, not close date: these are issues opened by this account.
- Privacy. This page is self-contained. Settings live in this browser only. Activity is not sent anywhere; fonts load from Google Fonts.
